{"id":5328,"date":"2014-06-24T10:14:31","date_gmt":"2014-06-24T10:14:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.iobevo.com\/online\/?page_id=5328"},"modified":"2018-09-16T23:39:07","modified_gmt":"2018-09-16T21:39:07","slug":"environmental-results","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.iobevo.com\/online\/helping-the-environment\/environmental-results\/?lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Environmental results"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-3318 size-full\" title=\"Environmental results\" src=\"http:\/\/iobevo.com\/online\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/risultati-ambientali.jpg\" alt=\"Environmental results\" width=\"700\" height=\"298\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.iobevo.com\/online\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/risultati-ambientali.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.iobevo.com\/online\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/risultati-ambientali-300x127.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><br \/>\nThe environmental results obtained by General Beverage are mainly related to prevention of packaging waste (- 99%) resulting from the consumption of water and beverages (especially PET bottles and cans), and to the reduction of the environmental impact of transport.<\/p>\n<p>Only with regard to the service <a title=\"freebeverages\" href=\"http:\/\/www.iobevo.com\/online\/en\/services\/freebeverage\/\"><span class=\"mark2\">freebeverage<\/span><\/a><span class=\"mark3\">\u00ae<\/span>, the results in the last year, achieved thanks to the application of our services for the distribution of more than 110 million meals, can be summarised as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>4,255 tons waste from packaging<\/li>\n<li>176,000 tons of goods transported<\/li>\n<li>7,000 tonnes of CO2<\/li>\n<li>5,450 tons of oil<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition to the <span class=\"mark2\">freebeverage<\/span> service, we pay particular attention to waste prevention and transport in all our services: for example, the <a title=\"io pura\" href=\"http:\/\/www.iobevo.com\/online\/en\/services\/pura\/\"><span class=\"mark2\">io\u00a0pura<\/span><\/a><span class=\"mark3\">\u00ae<\/span> service, realized in offices, schools and hospitals, allows to eliminate PET waste from carbonated water bottles; the <span class=\"mark2\">RistoSano<\/span><span class=\"mark3\">\u00ae<\/span> service requires significantly less packaging than ready made packaged meals (homogenised, ready-made one portion meals and mousses).
